Most sports need athletes to run faster, jump higher, throw harder, hit with more power, and change direction more quickly.
Athletes who are well-rounded in these performance areas can expect to see success and longevity in their sport(s). Effective strength and conditioning programming is key to unlocking all of this.
The stronger you are, the more potential you have to create greater ground force - which directly relates to generating more speed and explosive power.
Another notable benefit of strength training is it helps protect athletes against injury. Physical strengthening and conditioning of the muscles and connective tissues allow athletes to handle impact and the typical grind of day-to-day practice and competitive play.
Our strength and conditioning training is designed to make athletes faster, stronger, and more explosive. We can help athletes reach their performance potential and teach them proper weight room form and skill technique.
Our Strength & Conditioning Camp is for youth athletes, and any young person seeking an introduction to weightlifting and fitness. Age groups are 11-15, male and female. Participants will Learn correct weightlifting form, complete conditioning workouts, and perform speed/agility/jumping/rotational drills.
These camps are instructed by Head Coach Dan Rose. Involved in competitive athletics and performance training since 1990, Coach Rose is a USA Weightlifting National Coach and Advanced Sport Performance Coach. Since 2013, Coach Dan has trained 12 National Champion Weightlifters and multiple Team USA members, as well as countless Professional, Collegiate, and Youth team sports athletes in Harrisburg and the greater Charlotte area.
These camps will be capped at 10 participants for each camp, to insure everyone gets plenty of quality instruction. Registration is first come, first served, and is non-refundable once registration closes.
If you, or your child fall outside the age groups, contact us directly for information on our monthly training.
